Ecotourism brings local communities an alternative for their sustainability. It is about tours for small groups in direct contact with Natural Protected Areas, their flora & fauna. Ecotourism supports nature conservancy, local human resources and local communities’ economy. We are supporting the local development of a community based tourism approach for San Roque de Cumbaza Rural District as an Ecotourism Destination. That said, we are developing skills in different local groups:

 

• Cooking, Housekeeping & Artistry (usually women)

• Environmental Interpretation (tour guides)

• Ecological Agriculture (farmers)
